Is there anyway to bulk import attachments.

    Thanks,
    Rory

    Hi Rory,

Please refer the wiki page to bulk upload the attachments.

    Thanks,
    Tushar

These instructions are not very clear. One is also limited to a “record type” (see below). How would you enter a “custom file type field”?

In OpenSpecimen v3.4, bulk operation supports to upload files for the file controls like consent, surgical pathology report (SPR) or any custom file type field.
Example: Upload files for ‘Consents’ document:
    Steps:

    1. Go to ‘Collection Protocols->Import->Biospecimen Data’. Select record type ‘Consents’ and download the template file.
    2. Fill up the CSV file with relevant consent data, refer to ‘Save/Update consents’
    3. Create directory named ‘files’ containing actual consent files to be uploaded
    4. Create a zip file of Consents CSV data file and ‘files’ directory
    5. Upload this zip file in OpenSpecimen to bulk import
Refer to the sample file for the structure of the zip file to be imported.
Follow similar steps for other files like SPR, custom form files.
      Note:
    6. SPR file upload: Use ‘visits’ template
    7. Forms file upload: Use corresponding custom forms template

I figured it out. Thanks for the direction. This can be done at the CP level and that is what I needed.
