Sometimes, the usage of certain dropdown values is discontinued and have to be edited. E.g. deprecated values, typos, etc.
Editing the dropdown values was possible earlier. However, it was restricted only to the values that are not used in any records. From the v6.2 release, the ‘Dropdown Manager’ supports editing a value even if it is used. When the value is edited, it is automatically updated in all the records.
If there are many such values to be edited, you can use the Import/Export feature introduced in v6.1. The Import/Export can also be used to migrate values from one instance of OpenSpecimen to another.
