Retrieving former specimen locations after they have been distributed/removed

I was informed at a recent OSCON18 in Melbourne that it was possible to generate a list of former/original locations for specimens that have been distributed.

Since then I have not been able to achieve this, and I haven’t received help for my query.
Has anyone been able to do this?

You can view the past locations of a specimen by querying against the “Transfer Event” fields.
Below is a specimen that I moved to different locations
