    Adding new sites does not show up in the list (OS v1.1)

    Hello,

    I have added new sites through user interface but i could not see them in Collection protocol (Privileges tab). Am i missing any piece?

    Hello Diya,

    I went back to my OS, and I found out that I have 4 sites but only 2 show up in collection Protocol Privilege tab, When I checked again, I noticed that the 2 other sites that do no show up are not of Type Repository. The ones that show up, their type: Site is Repository. Not sure what that means. maybe you would need to check your site types.

    By the way, I have OS version 1.0.1

    Hi Diya
    In OS, a site has to be of TYPE Repository for the user to associate collection protocols and storage containers to it. OS has basically three options for TYPE when creating at site. The first is Collection Site and this would be the location the patient was seen to have tests or procedure done. Specimen would not be stored or processed (like in the lab) at a Collection site. The Second option is a Laboratory and this would be like an assay lab. Finally the third choice is a Repository and this is were specimens are stored and processed. Thus sites of Type Repository are the sites that populate into the CP creation and storage container creation features. All site options are displayed on SCG page as specimens can be received from other repositories, collection site and laboratories.
