ENT-2 currently only allows for specimens that were collected under the 14 Path or Tissue 09 collection protocols.
If you try to add any of the ENT protocols to the container, you get an error that Box 2-G violates restrictions.
Box G allows collection under the 14 Path and Tissue 09 protocols. It’s different in that it holds Tissue, Fluid, Molecular, Cellular and Frozen Tissue specimens. (In reality, ENT-2 only ever stores frozen tissues) If you try to edit the list down to only include Frozen Tissues, the field empties itself. So I added only Frozen Tissues and saved.
Now if you try to add ENT collection protocols for ENT-2, you get sundry errors. For an example see the attached screenshot. It lists Stacker 2 Box A as having a problematic specimen 25818. Specimen 25818 is frozen tissue collected under ENT 2012 Collection Protocol. So the container is already storing items from that collection protocol. I don’t know why the error.
Yesterday I tried to create a new Container and migrate the records over. Similar problems occurred. Different Parent Sites are restricted to certain Collection Protocols are restricted to certain Repositories. So there was no way to create a container satisfying all the restrictions of all the records in ENT-2 and the specimens that have to be entered.
