    When updating fields on a custom form, if a field is no longer needed, is it possible to hide it on the front end and maintain the historical data that has already been collected? If a field is deleted, is the data already collected also lost?

    Hi @Michele_Park,

    It is not possible to hide the field for data entry. If the field is deleted, the user will not be able to query for the data collected previously. The data will be retained in the database since OpenSpecimen soft deletes the data but will not be visible via UI.
