Custom Javascript on Form

Hi.
Is it possible to define custom javascript files to introduce customized functionalities on the Forms?
For example like, making a AJAX call to a remote web service that is independent of OpenSpecimen upon hitting the “Submit” or “Update” button on the Specimen Form.
