I’ve noticed that when creating an aliquot or derivatives from a parent sample, the “Increment parent specimen’s Freeze/Thaw cycles?” checkbox is checked by default. What is the reasoning behind this? And can it be changed?
I noticed when I create aliquots at the same time as creating the parent specimen, this box is unchecked by default.
