When we create a derivative it only allows us to input the “Label” however all of our samples have a label and a barcode. Therefore, in the simplified derivative view we have to put in the label and create the derivative then once it’s created we have to click on the sample to add the barcode. Is there any way for us to see the normal expanded view when creating a derivative? This would allow us to add the barcode at the same time as everything else and also prevents the issue about the child specimen time being less than that of the parent specimen since the expanded view allows us to put in the “Created on” time as well.
