OpenSpecimen’s global search enables quick record searches across the application from any page. You can search for various record types, including participants, specimens, boxes, users, etc.
To narrow your search to specific record types, you can add keywords. This is useful in cases where a keyword results in many matches across multiple objects.
For example, to find a participant named ‘Jenny,’ search for ‘participant: Jenny’.
Without a keyword, the system will return all matches for the term ‘Jenny’.
