Wondering is it possible to specify validation rule (similar to how you specify validation rule for participant UID) for fields in custom forms?

This not supported beyond that can be defined in the UI like min/max.

wondering will this be considered for future feature development? for example, it would be very useful if we can specify the format of an input field by regular expression and any input that failed the regular expression match will trigger input error message.
