Is the only way to do this to upgrade to OS v1.1 and then wait for the upgrade to v2.0 to come out? Am I understanding correctly?
This is most likely to come up soon at my institution and I was looking for a quicker response here.

We recommend upgrading to v2.0 directly.
We are currently working on upgrading a v1.2 instance to v2.0 and can help you with it.
