A dashboard is very useful to get a quick glance at the protocol metrics e.g. type of specimens collected, the number of participants enrolled, etc. Each study might need different data to display on the dashboard.
Earlier it was a very tedious job to manage dashlets since it was not possible to edit or delete unused dashlets.
From v6.3 dashlets can be managed through UI. The user can now -
- Edit name and description of the dashlet
- Delete the dashlet (if not used in any dashboard)
- Export the definition, edit it and import back
- Preview the dashlet before finalizing
