From v8.1, OpenSpecimen supports generating PDF manifests during specimen collection and distribution.
This feature enables:
- Clinical coordinators to print a summary of the specimens collected to be submitted along with the specimens to the lab.
- Order manifests can be used to share PDFs to the researchers along with the specimens distributed.
- The format and content of the PDF file can be configured at either protocol level or system level.
