I am testing to map a redcap field (e.g., nickname of a participant) into OpenSpecimen at participant level. As nickname is not a default field of participant from OpenSpecimen, I would assume it will be mapped to a participant custom field. However, I do not find any document describing how would we do in a situation like this?
Can you please give me any help or pointing me to any instruction manual that would describe this situation in detail? All I find for now is that we do not have to create a custom field in advance, the plugin will do the job.
