v2.4 release update (Poornima, Krishagni)
v2.4 RC1 is expected on Nov 10th. The new features are as follows:
Customize screens (phase 1)
- Add new fields at site, collection protocol, participant,visit and specimen level to be visible within the main pages.
- Bulk import template and query
Future releases (phase 2):
- Hide existing fields
- Configure fields as mandatory
- Order fields
- Configure screens per protocol
Distribution Tracking
View and export high-level “Distribution Summary Report” per distribution protocol
Set distribution targets and track count of specimens distributed vs target
Replace “card view” with "grid view"
Per community feedback, it’s better to have gridview to display objects
Support bulk operations like delete, close, and export from the grid view
