    OpenSpecimen v4.2 Scope

    Below are some of the features included in v4.2 Scope:

    We are still finalizing the scope, feedback welcome for including any other enhancements or bugs.

    Hi Poornima,

    I have mentioned a few features before, but the following features would be fantastic if they could make it into scope for v4.2

    1. Use the show if conditions defined in the workflow json when displaying custom fields in the specimen overview page.
    2. Allow fields to be grouped into separate sections in the SDE single specimen page.
    3. Allow custom form fields to be displayed in a grid like layout i.e. allow multiple fields to be displayed per form row.
    4. For specimen centric CPs, in the specimen overview page if you delete a specimen it displays the unplanned visit screen. It should display the specimen list page.
    5. When using the counter “Participant.specimenCount.collectedSpecimens” in the participant list or queries, it does not include unplanned specimens in the count.
    6. Allow an option in the participant and specimen list pages to trim long text values e.g. show first 50 characters.
    7. OPSMN-3482 Formatting of date fields in the participant and specimen list pages.
    8. OPSMN-3358 A CP Admin can make other users admin of ALL CPs, not just the CPs they have been allocated.
    9. For sample centric CPs, in the specimen overview page, hide the collect button in the samples section.
    10. In the distribution screen, allow the status to be better tracked – requested, awaiting collection, closed.
    11. Allow event point to be entered in days, weeks or years.

    One of our potential users is very interested in v4.2. Is there an anticipated release date for v4.2?

    v4.2 is expected to be released by mid-August. Is there any specific feature you are looking forward to?

    Poornima, the feature that our team is interested in is the enhancement to the add participant functionality that allows a user to go to a participant that was found to be already registered. It is the enhancement that you discussed when we had sent you our user’s pain points last week.
