End users are often confused about when and how to use Shipment and Distribution. In this webinar, we will demo both the features and explain when to use which.
Shipment: To be used when moving specimens between two sites within OpenSpecimen, where users of both sites have access to OpenSpecimen. For example, an off-site storage location.
Distribution: To be used when distributing specimens to researchers who are going to utilise specimens in research. We will also cover the new feature in v12.2 ‘Picklists’, which is useful when working with a large number of specimens, for example, distributing 100s or 1000s of specimens.

- Setting up a Distribution Protocol
- Distributing specimens
- Shipping, receiving, and requesting specimens between two sites
- Using Picklists (introduced in v12.2)
