It looks like the participant drop-down list in v1.1 has a slightly different format than what is present in Plus v3.0; this change is apparent for collection protocols with many participants. In Plus v3.0, it is possible to toggle between multiple pages of lists of participants (per attached screenshot), though in OS v1.1, pages of participants do not appear (per attached screenshot). Is there a limit to how many participants appear in the participant drop-down list?
In OpenSpecimen-v1.1 the participant list is changed, earlier it used to display all the participants which cause problem when the participant count is large.
So now the count of participants to display in the list is configurable. By default it will display the recently added 200 participants. As you type in the dropdown, it will search and display in the list. You can search on the basis of participant name or PPID.
You can configure this count by updating the property named “participant.list.count” in caTissueCore_Properties.xml file available at ${JBOSS_HOME}/server/default/catissuecore-properties/
