  • Problems in receiving new user's password

    Hello,
    In OpenSpecimen v.2.0 I’ve created new users, but they don’t have the password.
    I suppose the password for a new user is automatically sent by email.
    I tried to configure the email server but I couldn’t manage to make Openspecimen to send any email.

    Hi @Radu_Zonda,

    When a user is created or approved, a link is sent through an email to set the password. On clicking the link user is redirected to set the password.

    The email functionality works in v2.0. Email configuration documentation is available here

    Could you please cross check that you have followed all the steps mentioned in the documentation.
