OpenSpecimen v2.0 exposes REST APIs that can be used to access all the features. Using these APIs, one can easily implement local extensions or integrate OpenSpecimen with other enterprise applications.
Technically OS v2.0 is very different from earlier versions of OpenSpecimen or caTissue. This webinar will give a sneak peak into what’s new and what to expect in the upcoming releases.
Agenda:
- Technology stack
- Deployment and configuration
- Introduction to REST APIs
- Sample code to use the APIs
Webinar time does not suit you?
No worries. You can still register and we will send you the video recording.
Why OpenSpecimen’s REST APIs matter?
OpenSpecimen “platform” is 100% REST API based. This means one can now build extensions, plugins, mobile apps, interfaces, etc as per local needs. E.g, you do not like the default user interface. No worries! You can develop a custom user interface which suits your local needs “to the T”. All this without making any code changes to the core OpenSpecimen platform. When we make a new release you just upgrade and your extensions should work as-is.
