Withdrawn subjects with specimens

I have a lab that has patients who have been withdrawn from a study. The samples are still usable with limitations. What is the best way to note this in OS so they will be separated from active samples. They want to keep them but apart from actively enrolled subjects to avoid misusing them.

Hi Lee,

Have you all thought about making a Custom Event through forms? You could build out the questionnaire with specifics that are required and with specific limitation options for the samples. It would be exportable if they have several or varying degrees of limitations. Just to throw in my two cents

I made this form for volume reduction of samples and attached it at the specimen event level:

You can then utilize at the specimen level or bulk upload depending on the needs of the lab.
